Black Fiber Tassel on Antique Wooden Spool
Details
Dramatic and minimal, this long black tassel brings depth and movement to any wall. A dense bundle of black fiber drapes over an antique wooden spool from the late 1700s to the early 1800s. It then gathers at a hand-wrapped band of natural cotton. Below that, the fibers twist in a single sculptural turn before meeting a second cotton band. They then fall into a long, sleek tassel that flares gently at the ends. The spool's worn, time-softened wood gives the piece a sense of history you can't replicate.
